Dear Overlook Community,
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying summer break. I am writing to you today as your new Overlook principal, and I am excited to start this journey with you. I have served as an educator for over 29 years. I have five children, and my wife Laurie is a school counselor at the Grizzly Academy.
I am honored to join a talented and dedicated staff and school community. Overlook has a long and proud history of academic excellence, and I am committed to continuing that tradition.
I believe that every child deserves a quality education. Our staff will continue to create a school environment where all students and staff feel safe, supported, and challenged. I am also excited to work with you and our staff to ensure that Overlook Elementary is a school where all students can reach their full potential.
I have been working hard to learn as much as I can about Overlook Elementary in the weeks leading up to the start of school. I have met with many of our staff and families, and I am impressed by the dedication and commitment of everyone involved in this school community. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of you in the coming weeks and months. I am excited to be a part of the Overlook Elementary family!
